It was a busy month for me in September until 10-10-2008 tender closing.
This was the first time, i "fully" participated in the whole process of tender together with pricing stage. My previous experience is more toward a supporting staff in tender process. Prepare Technical document, coordinate among various consultants and resolution those pre-tender queries and etc.
This round, i was playing a key role preparation on technical document and costing. It was challenging as to run the First Show with nothing on hand.
Even though i had sacrifice several holiday and continuously burn the night for couple of weeks, the return is really worthy on the effort that i put in. As i always told my junior, Learning is not necessitate to seek from guidance. Learning is from your observation and participation. Feel it and get yourself in to face the challenge.
Many mistakes had been done and many countless effort was drained off as the concentration was not putting in the right place. The more attempt i did, the more i learnt. Even failure can be a good teacher and good lesson as to remind myself to be careful in certain aspect and therefore, i can avoid from recurrence in future.
In conclusion, i am happy to have this opportunity to learn and participate in this tender. It is a valuable knowledge to me and definitely now i am better equipped compare to month ago.

Surprisingly, today those quiet colleagues turn up to be the expert in FOREX and MARKET TRADER..
Concurrently, I also learn this,

Emtpy-headed people chatter more than smart people.
Those used to talk loud in office are hiding themselve, when those "experts" turn up.. haa haa..
