Today was a busy day and i stayed a bit late than normal on job to finish some of the urgent stuff. I went back together with two colleagues and we decided to take taxi. i seldom take taxi and today ride has reveal a sad story of being a taxi driver that i never know before.

We took a Toyota Camry taxi. A luxury and comfortable ride. Interior compartment is so comfortable, spacious and cosy. We started the conversation by saying, "ohh.. how good if i can ride on such a comfortable car as part of job instead of working so stressful at site?".. The driver started to debate, ".. friend.. thing is not as simple as you see.."

Only then i realized normal taxi driver drives more than 14 hours per day and averagely first 8 hours drive is to break even the cost, like pay installment to employer, petrol, maintenance, etc. The earning is start counting from the subsequent hour.

The peak hour like morning 6-7am or 7-10pm will be a good business hours. Other than that will greatly depend on luck and sometimes wandering for nothing. In the peak hour, most of the time will get 5 trips maximum due to traffic jam. The situation usually turn sour in school holiday or public holiday, while everyone is not rushing time. In such circumstance, most of the tax driver will be loitering in coffee shop rather than on the road.

The most saddest part as claimed by the tax driver is he has to wake up in dawn and leave the house before 6am, go back on after 11pm. His sleeping hour is less than 5 hours a day and worse still, his children hardly see his face everyday. He forcefully groan that he won't be a tax driver if he has a chance.

Eventually he is still feel blessing to have a good wife who willing to bear the situation with him and he claimed that as if other normal women, already run away from home.

After the confrontation, i understand that thing cannot be judged by what you see. Appreciate your current position and don't complaint too much, especially you are not the worst to complaint.

Which one is more important? Management or Engineering?

After working for few yeras, sometimes, i was thinking about further study. am i too old to study? mm.. wonder i have time to do so and since there are so many commitments.

Besides that which University shall i choose? local university? oversea uni? still have to consider that.. how about part time study? i have doubt on my interest to further study. or it just come from nowhere and may vanish in the next second?

wanted to get more information first. i hope i can get a MBA before i get too old to study. see how la.

Criminal case is rampant in the Johor. The situation here seem to be out of control that's why government has sent in more cops to this state try to improve the national security.

When we read the newspaper on those cases, first question come into our mind is, where is those Police..? ..

i hate those take bribe traffic cops.

They suppose to help to control the traffic to ease the jam and not stand there and trap those driver who jump queue in the jam.

Be alert.. those cops are watching you. but not snatch thieves...

We , readers, need more of detail of what is happening. We don't want media to hide all the truth. Report it BIG and make it BIG over the newspaper. Otherwise, we hardly see those relevant parties take action to find crap culprits.

Don't tell others to come and invest in our country if we cannot resolve the basic security issue in homeland. What if you can make a million here, but risk your life and family being under such rampant criminal zone?

Furthermore, Please don't wait until the report come out to headline then only take action! be proactive! shall we call off the pay rise in POLICE if no improvement ?! shall we?!

This is really heart sickening news. F**King culprit!.. those culprit shall sentence to hang till death and not jail!

Crime cases dropping as reported previously? i am skeptical on the report. Really skeptical! i trust what i see but not figure!

Never thought stitching is so troublesome until one day i need to stitch my trouser.

Started to look around to see who can help, at first the main target is my landlady. After think twice, how can i request a 72 years old auntie to do stitching for me when her eye sight is so poor now.

Second target go to a friend who helped me stitch my shirt quite some time ago. Unfortunately, i throw her a question - "Do you know how to do stitching?" it indirectly gives her an impression i have forgotten the help offer last time. hoooo Nooo... fire is started here.. she answer unfaithfully, "You forgot those shirts i stitched for u?" oopps.. a blink come in my mind.. yes.. she helped me before.

To heat up further, unintentionally, i utter " Your stitching is awkful.".. Holy shit..... how come i am so careless in my word..

Volcano explore immediately. M16 shooting non stop.. Earthquake plus thunder storm..Tsunami...etc..

Aftermath of this tragedy, miraculously, i am still survive.!!

Lesson to learn
Lesson Number 1 - Don't forget what lady had help.
Lesson Number 2 - Never complaint on the end result even though it is awkful.

Prepaid Phone Card...

i wanted to get a prepaid card and found it is never be as easy as i think .. haa haa.. Ironically, there are so many packages available in the market but i found it rather confused than convenient. In my old day, there was a limited choice and its starter kit was selling like sky high compare to nowadays.

first of all, i need to determine what is the purpose of having it, like will my usage is justifiable to have a prepaid or post paid.
Then, am i going to send more sms than making a phone call.

Then, am i to be more frequent in receive incoming call or to make outgoing call.

Again, who is the caller and will it be too expensive for them to call me, due to outstation call is made, etc.

Go to next chapter, the Number selection is also another headache. Most people doesn't mind on the number they get. As for chinese, would you prefer 1144 or 1188 if you have a choice, which one will you take. Don't make complaint at the end if you let go your right to select the right number at the first place.

Other than the above mentioned, which phone operator shall be chosen, like digi, celcom, or maxis.. go deep in - Maxis, would you like to take 012 or 017.........i am cracking my head..

Aiyoo.. free my mind please.. how good if i got someone whom know which one is best for me and take all the craps away from my mind..

Quarrel and fighting are inevitable in a relationship. As human being, we tend to have different opinions and view points in certain issue. Therefore, the friction or fight begins from it. It generates without anybody conscious until it explores to hurt a relationship.

Is this really inevitable?

Compromise and Open Mind are the KEYs to resolve such problem, i believe. Why can't one party to step back? Does it really so hard to do so? or it need bring up to that extent to start a fight? It is unnecessary as both parties will get hurt at the end of it. What can we expect for a relationship if the situation persistent in this manner.

I would say endurance and understand is the greatest solution. Both parties must try to understand each other. Why must we stand so firm on our foot while you know there is nothing wrong to follow your partner idea. Put down your egoism and it definitely can bring the relationship to a better stage.

Compromise and understand are easy to talk but difficult to do.

This is also part of the lifelong learning.
